YASS SRD
A downloadable game
The YASS SRD (Yet Another Single Sheet SRD) is a diceless narrative framework designed to be extremely light weight but yet still offer tactical decision-making. It does this by giving each player a pre-set number of outcomes, and they have decide when to use them in order to overcome the obstacles in their way.
This simple core is then enhanced by the ability for the GM to shift the outcomes based on difficulty, and the player's ability to shift them with their Skills! When is the difficult challenge going to come? Do you think you will have the right skill to mitigate not having a good outcome left to spend on it?
The printable card files are not required to play, but can be useful play aides, including playing card sized character sheets and a rules reference! To ensure the correct playing card dimensions, print without margins on US Letter sized cardstock!
If you want to see the SRD in action, check out Banishing Chaos, an investigative adventure in ancient Egypt, Chronicles of the Black Iron Brigade, a mini-setting loosely inspired by Glen Cook's Black Company novels, Loki and the Golden Locks by Lucky Newt Games, or Oh, Bother, a delightful Winnie the Pooh inspired game by Warped Board Games.

This is such a great & versatile system, easy to learn but still has plenty of depth. It's also great for modifying to suit your own game, even something like oh say a Winnie-the-Pooh TTRPG. Definitely give it a look if you're wanting some inspiration / foundation for your next game!
Thank you so much. I’m glad you liked it! I’ll be excited to see anything else you make with it!
I absolutely love this system! It is so family-friendly and easy to teach to those new to the TTRPG space (especially with those cards!), but has an entirely new depth of strategy to entice veteran players. It's also a total goldmine of inspiration for creators!
It's so rare to find a system that's diceless and cardless (other than a set of optional printouts) but can still carry the full weight of a multiplayer game. You can bet I already have a couple of games in mind for this!
Thanks! I thought I had already replied to this, but apparently not. I really appreciate your kind words!
