Banishing Chaos

With only days to go before the all important Rite of Banishing Chaos, the people of Awanu are terrified. Someone has been killing the priests of Ra, and the guards have been powerless to stop them. Thus it falls to a rag-tag group of commoners to investigate and hopefully uncover the culprit before its too late!

Inspired by Egyptian mythology and history, specifically that of the New Kingdom at the tailend of the Bronze Age, Banishing Chaos is a somewhat short (one session of 3-5 hours) investigative adventure using the YASS SRD. Not historically accurate (magic is a possibility, after all), there is a five-page primer on what Egypt was like at this time so that the players (and the GM) can get their feet under them quickly as well as six pre-generated characters, in case the players don't want to make their own (or don't have time), making this the perfect adventure to fill in if your normal game falls through.

NOTE: This game involves mature themes and has the potential to be upsetting to some people. Please be aware before playing and always remember to take care of each other at the table. The use of safety tools are recommended.
