High-Stakes RPG

A quick, narrative TTRPG based completely around using poker mechanics to resolve actions. Probably most useful for a western RPG, but theoretically could be used for anything.

The concept is relatively simple. The Players and the Dealer (GM) negotiate to determine what the possible outcomes of an action will be, and then a hand of poker is played to determine success or failure. There is a catch, however, and the character's Skills determine how large their hand is, and their Attributes determine how many of those cards can actually be played to determine success. Add in some Talents that let you manipulate things a bit more, and you get a fast and fun way to play an RPG that is unlike anything else out there.
